GySEV passenger cars

The GySEV railway company (Győr–Sopron–Ebenfurti Vasút Zrt., or Raab-Ödenburg-Ebenfurter Eisenbahn AG) is Hungarian-Austrian railway company, operating without any discontinuation since 1872. The company owns and operates on several railway lines in the border area between Hungary and Austria, most trains are operated by electric or motor units.

The original wagons, supplied from the Dunakeszi wagon workshops, are no longer in operation, as were the second-hand DB wagons (after being sold back to Germany). Actual service is ensured by previously used and modernized vehicles from ÖBB.

The company previously owned its own code within the countries code for the marking of rail vehicles (43). After 2010, the code was abandoned and the company ranked under the general code of Hungary (55).

DWA Dunakeszi, reconstruction for GySEV 1995 - 1997, UIC - Y
Reconstruction of wagons for InterCity service Budapest – Sopron – complete reconstruction of the interior into a open seat arrangement. In the first series, 13 wagons were delivered with folding doors and all the windows with a opening part, later four more wagons were delivered with a sliding door, aircondition and a combined window. Part of second-class wagons of older serie are operated in RIC mode (wagons are possible to service in international traffic).

Today wagons are in standby-mode and are not in regular service. Wagons of second serie were slightly upgraded and designation was overwritten to Apee 10-36 / Bpee 20-36 type.

overtaken wagons for long-distance trains from ÖBB, SGP Simmering for ÖBB 1979 – 1980
Od roku 2009 je park osobních vozů GySEV obměňován ojetými vozy od rakouských železnic (ÖBB).

Na přelomu 70. a 80. let vzniklo v několika rakouských společnostech mnoho vozů konstrukce UIC-Z pro dálkové vlaky. Počátkem 21. století byly všechny vozy modernizovány a po náhradě netrakčními jednotkami railjet byly nabídnuty k odprodeji.

V roce 2016 GySEV odkoupil celkem 26 vozů Bmz 61 81 21-90.1, z nich u osmi vozů bylo pět oddílů upraveno na 1. třídu a tyto vozy byly označeny jako ABmz. Pět oddílů bylo upraveno na 1. třídu (nové potahy sedadel, nové police na zavazadla, dosazení koberce), zbývajících šest oddílů prošlo výměnou potahů sedadel. V případě vozů Bmz došlo pouze k výměně potahů sedadel.

GySEV, úpravy a modernizace vozů DWA Dunakeszi, pro GySEV 2019, UIC-Y
V roce 2019 byly vozy Ap 10-67 a Bp 20-67 mírně modernizovány a přeznačeny na Apee 10-36 / Bpee 20-36. Došlo také ke snížení maximální povolené rychlosti ze 140 km/h na 120 km/h.

Vozy jsou vedeny jako záložní, sporadicky se vyskytují na IC Budapest - Sopron, místo vozů ABmz/Bmz.
