GySEV passenger cars

The GySEV railway company (Győr–Sopron–Ebenfurti Vasút Zrt., or Raab-Ödenburg-Ebenfurter Eisenbahn AG) is Hungarian-Austrian railway company, operating without any discontinuation since 1872. The company owns and operates on several railway lines in the border area between Hungary and Austria, most trains are operated by electric or motor units.

The original wagons, supplied from the Dunakeszi wagon workshops, are no longer in operation, as were the second-hand DB wagons (after being sold back to Germany). Actual service is ensured by previously used and modernized vehicles from ÖBB.

The company previously owned its own code within the countries code for the marking of rail vehicles (43). After 2010, the code was abandoned and the company ranked under the general code of Hungary (55).
