Bistro kopíruje celkový veľmi kostrbatý dojem z celých súprav ComfortJet.
Do najužšieho bodu vozňa, ku výdajnému pultu, bola umiestnená garáž na vozík pre minibar. V silných dňoch, resp. v turistickej sezóne na vlakoch Berliner, sa tu nezriedka tvorí doslova deadlock, keď v tomto mieste začínajú dve fronty tých, ktorí už nemajú miesto na sedenia a berú si jedlo so sebou. Jedna fronta je od vozňov prvej triedy, druhá od druhej triedy. Do toho sa ešte motá člen obsluhy od JLV.
Je zjavné, že vzhľadom na aktuálnu ponuku ČD Restaurant bistrovozeň nemá dostatočné skladovacie kapacity, a tak sa rôzne krabice či rovno celé vozíky odstavujú na predstavku a blokujú dvere určené na zbrojenie.
Dopravca si do jedálenskej časti nechal namontovať police na batožinu, čím nepriamo podporuje neduhy niektorých cestujúcich bez miestenky, ktorí bistro využívajú ako miesto na niekoľkohodinové sedenie a prácu na laptope pri jednom pive či káve.
Kým osvetlenie bistra railjetov bolo riešené kombináciou nepriamych a priamych svietidiel, ComfortJet má už osvetlenie výlučne priame, rovnaké ako v sedačkách. Agresívna farba, príliš silné, nevypínateľné svetelné štvorce na medziokenných stĺpikoch.
