Zcela objektivně nejpohodlnější posez nabízí poctivé jedničky z východoněmeckého Bautzenu řady A/AB (zde přeznačené již na 2. třídu B209). Samozřejmě z pohledu moderního cestování 21. století už tyto vozy nedokážou poskytnout úroveň, na kterou bychom byli zvyklí (a to zejména v letním období), o hlučnosti se ani bavit nemusíme, elektrická zařízení si zde nedobijeme, nicméně prostě se jen uvelebit do pohodlných sedaček, ve tmě si zhasnout agresivní zářivku (která při troše štěstí nepíská), natáhnout si nohy a vystrčit hlavu z okénka - to je nenahraditelné! Zde navíc jako bonus sedíte za cenu 2. vozové třídy v těch nejpohodlnějších sedačkách ever!
