Okay seats for short distances (what it was designed for).
Lack of power outlets (only 8 per carriage) due to the unfortunate timing of ordering these. Travel information is provided with screens, very clear. There are trash cans under the tables and at the doors. Folding tables are only in first class and first class is rather small and not really sepperated.
Lightning is perfect, in the morning or evening they are sometimes on half mode, which is great.
Arounds the traction motors you do hear the motors quite loud and you hear the wheel ring lubrication very loud.
Air-conditioning is one of the best I've ever felt.
The seats clearly aren't comfortable compared to many other series in service in Belgium. Their shape is awkward for a train that's intended, amongst others, for suburban and regional services. It's not as uncomfortable as some series in service on the rest of the continent however.
Considering these series are recent, equipments clearly lack, especially power outlets. There practically aren't any tables, which is deplorable as these trainsets are used on several intercity routes that are a couple of hours long.
The lighting isn't particularly aggressive and is yellowish instead of white, contrarily to several other comparable series of rolling stock.
One thing that is worth noting is that they aren't very noisy, nor do they shake excessively on good-quality tracks. I remember having slept for dozens of minutes aboard these without an issue.
The air-conditioning is of good quality, in the summer, even during heatwaves, you surely won't sweat.
