Nesmrteľné béčka, respektíve ich cyklo-modifikácia Bd je pojazdnou nostalgiou Českých dráh, na ktorú tu na Slovensku už len môžeme spomínať. Ale súčasnosť je k týmto vozňom neúprosná, a naskytá sa tu otázka - ako je možné, že to ešte jazdí?
Vozne Bd pochádzajú zo série okolo roku 1979 a ten vek je ozaj na nich vidieť. Typicky hlučné podvozky a naozaj neznesiteľné pískanie brzdových špalíkov, gravitačné WC, dvere "s mimoriadne ťažkým chodom" a hlavne bez blokovania, absencia čohokoľvek moderného...
...ale aspoň, že to jazdí prioritne na trase Brno - Olomouc - Šumperk/Jeseník, kde sa aj dá kochať z okna. Jedinou výhodou oproti "béčkam" sú stojany na bicykle, ktoré sa najmä v Jeseníkoch ozaj zídu.
Takže ak si to zhrnieme... Na príležitostné cestovanie to je potešenie pre dušu so silným nádychom nostalgie.
Na bežné cestovanie? Niekedy je človek rád, že najstaršie vozne na Slovensku sú z roku 1996, kedy už úroveň komfortu bola podstatne vyššie.
