The facelifted suburban 6112 have Borcad Visio seats, which are decently shaped and well padded. They have no recline and no handrests, which is acceptable as long as the train is utilized properly. However, there should be more seats in the train as there is too much standing room.

The train has 230V and USB outlets under the seats by the section ends which is adequate. Tables are available for the same mentioned seats only, and there are luggage racks above seats. However, the information displays are only LED dot-matrix, which display little information and higher resolution LCD displays would have been more appropriate considering their newer age.

The train lighting is uniform, although a little harsh cooler color. A warmer color would be more pleasant, especially for night time.

The noise levels are not high within the trainsets, however a small drawback is that the propulsion noise and outside noise is a little louder inside the train than on comparable trains from other manufacturers.

The temperature control is about good in the trains, the heating and air conditioning both do their job well, although the air conditioning on some occasions does a too good job and makes the train feel very cold inside.
