The base 6112 have two variants of seats: older flatter seats present in the first 10 serial units (002 - 011), and newer Borcad Visio seats present in the newer six units. The older seats are a little less comfortable than the newer Borcad due to their shape, but are similar in terms of cushioning and legroom. Both seats have no recline ability, and in their respective sets they have handrests on the outer sides of the seating. Rating for older type: 6/10, newer: 9/10.

The trainsets have luggage racks above the seats and small tables by the windows or tray tables depending upon seats. They have LED dot-matrix displays which may be slightly insufficient at the time of review, as standard are higher resolution LCD displays. There are 230V sockets available at most seats, but USB is only available at some seats (near the articulations) in the newer units. Wi-Fi connection is available upon entering in an email address.

Lighting in the older trainsets is a slightly more comfortable (warmer) color at night, whereas the newer sets have a cooler light color. However, in both cases the lighting is not too bright, so the color differences are not too problematic.

The noise levels are not high within the trainsets, however a small drawback is that the propulsion noise and outside noise is a little louder inside the train than on comparable trains from other manufacturers.

The temperature control is about perfect in the trains, the heating and air conditioning both do their job well, although the air conditioning can rarely feel that it is slightly struggling to keep up with outside temperatures.
