Seats were very average, and pretty short. They recline by the base sliding forward via the button in the armrest. Numbering of the seats is not the one standard you'd see around Hungary, Austria and Germany, they number from 1 counting up (to like 900 something, do reference the VagonWEB seat map when booking), do pay attention to that. Only window seats appear to have a power socket (a French one, compatible with most if not all EU sockets). Legroom was pretty poor in a bay of four, though that is usually the case with bays of fours.
There are large luggage racks around the stairs, and storage for items between the backs of seats. And this is very much needed, as the overhead storage will be unable to handle even a Ryanair-sized small bag (40 x 30 x 20 cm on that, I beleive).
A/C worked completely fine, so did the Wi-Fi. There were no information screens at all, which makes tracking the progress of your journey quite difficult as all announcements are made in French only on domestic runs. Frankly quite unacceptable on a high-speed train.
Upper deck lavatories are pretty tight, though that is expected on a double-decker, and they are functional. Flush goes with a pedal, and the sink is operated by a well-placed sensor. Though the water pressure just simply goes away when the toilet flushes, so the sink only works when you are not actively flushing.
Ride quality gets extremely poor once you get up to 300 km/h, and noise levels also deterriote (it does not get bad), even on the upper deck. (Though I must remark that noise gets quite a bit worse on the lower deck.) This goes especially compared to other European high-speed trains like the Frecciarossa 1000. Pressurisation is also subpar compared to other European options.
Probably the best second class seat I've used in Europe.
Not to be confused with the terrible "Océane" interior.
