A MÁV innovatív elővárosi villamos motorvonatai, a legnagyobb darabszámú magyar motorvonat-típus.
Miután elővárosi forgalomra fejlesztett verzió, az ülések csak rövid távú utazásra alkalmasak, sajnos egyes távolsági vonatok is ezekkel vannak kiadva, ott már fájdalmas tud lenni.
A motorkocsi klimatizált, a vezetőállások mögötti rész kivételével alacsonypadlós, 1 db mosdóval rendelkezik, amely sokszor nem működik.
Egyetlen hátránya a magasan elhelyezett konnektorok, valamint néha meghibásodik a vizuális vagy a hangos utastájékoztatás, ezen kívül a belső hőmérséklet nagyon jó (ha jó a klíma), a világítás hiba nélkül szokott működni és a motorvonat igen halk

Elővárosi közlekedésre megfelel, hosszú útra kényelmetlenek az ülések. Konnektorok nem túl jó helyen vannak. 1 WC van, ami kevés időnként.
