Hard wooden benches, I would advise to bring a cushion if travelling the full route, as did most of the locals. The coach did have toilets and luggage racks, but thats about it in terms of equipment. No wifi, no A/C.
Important to note you buy tickets for this service on board, and it is cash only. They do not take card. Found this out the hard way.
Lighting was soft and warm, not harsh and white.
Noise was quite bad, especially on the poorer quality track, and sitting in the motorcar you get the fairly loud engine noise too. Good for an enthusiast, not so good for regular passengers.
As with the sleeper from Romania, the temperature was way too high, about 30 degrees despite it being January. Seems to be a common trend with CFR trains.
Overall, an incredible journey I would recommend to any enthusiast of vintage diesel traction, but not great to be making regular trips on, especially for the full 3 hours on the route they run.
