Po modernizácii sa jednotky výrazne posunuli v kvalite čo sa týka hluku vo vozidle a vybavenia majú wifi, zásuvky, USB porty, príjemnejší interiér a nové označníky. V časti s panoramatickými (teda väčšími) oknami sa stále nachádza málo úložného priestoru na batožinu. Jednotky stále (rovnako ako 495.95) nemajú toalety no to sa dá pochopiť preto že v súprave už neni miesto a v teréne plnom kopcov a zákrut by boli neustále špinavé. Čo sa týka osvetlenia je príjemné. Hluk je vo vlaku stále no oproti tomu aký zvuk vydávali pred tým je to posun. Čo je zvláštne na stanovišti zostal ,,volant”. Ale jednotky hlavne vďaka veľkým oknám zanechávajú dobrý dojem z cesty.
