The seats are quite firm to be frank, though they are not nearly as bad as they look. They do not appear to recline. Legroom is very limited in bays of fours, though that is unfortunately expected for that kind of seating. Seat numbering goes airplane style, 1A, 1B then 1C, 1D, where A and D are always window and B and C are always aisle, very intuitively. Power sockets are located well, down between the seats, featuring an international wall plug and an USB A socket per seat.

Overhead racks are large enough for suitcases, and there are extra racks for even more bags, no complaints there.

A/C worked fine, and the Wi-Fi was also great, though long tunnels did seem to cut signal. There are information displays, and announcements are made in multiple languages. Lightingh is uniform, though their placement makes them rather prone to reflecting in the windows - much to the annoyment of anyone who may wish to take photos along their journey. I recommend you download the FrecciaPaly app should you choose this train, it gives live speed and position updates (and also some movies and music) when connected to the Wi-Fi, even when the info displays are showing ads or news in Italian.

Lavatories use really weird buttons for everything, not quite intuitive what is a button and what is just a sticker. With that said, at least it is not some poorly positioned snesor, so I guess not much to complain about here either.

Ride quality was buttery smooth and noise levels were also modest. Had I pulled my blinds down (which though mesh, do block light really well), I would not have been able to tell we are doing 300 km/h. Pressurisation is not perfect, though it is good, and was not uncomfortable, even thorugh long tunnels.

Seats are not the best, but still comfortable. The train has almost everything you need, a seat reservation display is the only thing missing. It has nice lightning, but sadly no personal lights. The ride is smooth and quiet, and the carrige is cool.
